Our Story
MEET MARY & MAVIS
Mary and Mavis were my grandmothers. Mary on my Mum’s side and Mavis on my Dad’s. Trying to come up with a business name you love that means something is tough but when I thought of Mary & Mavis it just worked. The original cottage where our store is located is of their vintage and anyone who has started their own business knows it is a lot of hard work.
Mary and Mavis grew up in an era of much tougher times and were both strong, hard-working women. I was raised with the same work ethic and with some business sense from Dad and fashion sense from Mum, I can’t wait to welcome you to my beautiful boutique... At Mary & Mavis.
